I became a doctor because I wanted to help people and save lives. Being a surgeon was definitely my calling, but is has become my life’s passion and I feel it a privilege to be a physician. I love medicine and am excited to come to work every day.

Patient Reviews

Dr. Baker is our family’s personal surgeon!  He performed my husband’s hernia repair, operated on my colon and removed my sister’s gallbladder.  I love Dr. Baker’s personality the most – he is kind, sincere and compassionate.  His experience and confidence are exactly what you would want a surgeon to have.

Dr. Michael Baker's bedside manner is wonderful; he is attentive to important details and explained the risk and plan for the surgery. He and the folks at WCSA were of immense help in preparing for surgery.
